In Riga, at the Defence Industry Cooperation Forum, the Promavtomatyka Group of Companies presented its in-house developments. The company’s stand showcased its flagship solutions, including BP Power specialized military power banks, BP Flashlight searchlights, batteries, and BP Solar panels.
Ukrainian autonomous power systems attracted strong interest from Latvia’s defense sector, as there are no direct equivalents to this product range on the local market. Latvian specialists are considering the BP Power lineup for supplying energy to shelters, critical infrastructure facilities, and unmanned systems. The parties discussed possible formats of industrial cooperation, ranging from direct supply to the establishment of joint production in Ukraine or the organization of final assembly in Latvia using Ukrainian components.
Special attention during the forum was given to volunteer support. Representatives of Promavtomatyka met with Latvian mountaineer and writer Juris Ulmanis, who has been supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine since 2014. His activities gained wide recognition through large-scale acts of solidarity: in 2023, he raised the Ukrainian flag on Mount Everest, and in January 2025, he installed a flag with the UNITED24 logo at the South Pole, removing Russian symbols from the site.
The shared values of business and volunteers further confirm that we are moving along the same path. Therefore, the next step is logical — to continue this dialogue in Ukraine. The Latvian Federation of Defense Industries (FSDI Latvia) plans to organize such a meeting on our territory.
